Here are some answers to frequently asked questions. Of course, if you do not find your answer here please feel free to contact us with your question or special need and we'll be happy to help.

What is the difference between Premium Luster and Velvet Fine Art Paper?
Both papers are professional quality, archival papers manufactured by Epson. The difference between the two is the finish on the print. The luster finish has a patina similar to what is commonly called semi-gloss. Velvet paper has a completely matte, textured finish that produces incredible contrast and very deep blacks.

Can any image be converted to Black and White?
Yes, however, during the session we will typically make some lighting and background changes to enhance the look of certain poses for conversion to black and white.

How and when do I get my proofs?
We provide proofs printed at approximately 3 x 5 inches. The typical session will produce about 20 different images to choose from. The proofs are typically delivered within 2 weeks of having taken the photos.
